This
is an example of my “fine art”. It’s
whimsical, I know, but I’m serious about making people smile (and think
a little too). For information on galleries and prints, click on "art". One of my passions is writing
and illustrating. I’ve had a few books
published...mainly for kids, but also for adults who still have a bit of
a kid left in them. Click over on "Books, etc." to see what I’ve
done, as well as news about books in progress.
This is a little piece of a mural I helped some kids paint. It’s fun
to paint on walls (it feels like you’re getting away with something)! "Speaking
and murals" will show you more.

This is a picture of a sock. I’m missing its mate. If you’ve seen
it, or if you have anything else to say, e-mail me, and while you’re
at it, sign up for my mailing list.
Here are some of my latest creations.
This past year I have been Public Art Guy. I painted large canvases and
shaped wood pieces with hidden games
in them for the De Vos Children’s
Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I also created murals for 3 different schools, and for the Grand
Rapids Children’s
Museum (with the help of hundreds of kids). And that’s just some of
what I’ve been up to…check back here from time to time and see
what’s new.
